CERTAINTEED CREATING A SAFE SPACE FOR ADULT VICTIMS OF SEXUAL ASSUALT/CHILDHOOD SEXUAL ABUSE SUPPORTING

TRI-COUNTY S.P.E.A.K.S. SEXUAL ASSAULT CENTER ARTS PROGRAMS

Tri-County S.P.E.A.K.S. Arts Programming Begins with Support of Certainteed/Saint-Gobain:

When Certainteed, and its parent company Saint-Gobain, share their purpose of a “making the world a better home,” they do not just mean glass mat for shingles: Certainteed and Saint-Gobain are making a difference to create a sustainable roof over Tri-County S.P.E.A.K.S. Sexual Assault Center programs for adult victims/survivors of Sexual Assault/ and/or Child Sexual Abuse with their generous donation of $15,000 for the TCS Arts Programs. Partnering with MUSC’s Arts in Healing and Redux Studios to bring Speak Through Art is just one of the many TCS Arts Programs that will be funded.

Interim Director of Tri-County S.P.E.A.K.S., Nick Potter, states, “I want to thank Certainteed/Saint-Gobain for their support for our community and their incredible partnership. This is a monumental milestone in our vision of to advocate for survivors of sexual assault. For almost 50 years Tri-County S.P.E.A.K.S. has been there to support survivors of sexual assault in their difficult path to resiliency. Now, with the partnership with Certainteed/Saint-Gobain we can help provide more assistance for those who are in need our services. More survivors can now access the essential care that Tri-County S.P.E.A.K.S. provides.”
