Compassion, Empathy, and Understanding

What is Sexual Assault?

Sexual assault is a deeply distressing experience in which an individual is subjected to non-consensual, coercive, or forced sexual acts against their will. This can include acts such as rape, sexual battery, sexual harassment, non-consensual sexual activity, drug- or alcohol-facilitated sexual assault, and coercion. These experiences can have profound and lasting physical, emotional, and psychological effects on survivors.

Tri-County S.P.E.A.K.S. is committed to fostering understanding and empathy, raising awareness, providing unwavering support, and advocating for consent, education, and prevention efforts in order to create a safer and more empathetic world for all.
